A refined facial lifting approach for patients who want more than temporary tightening, but are not ready for a full facelift.
A Micro Facelift That Contours Before It Lifts.
GIRIN Micro Lift may combine selective soft-tissue reduction, repositioning, and lifting according to facial structure, tissue distribution, and the degree of sagging.
LIFT
What Is a Micro Facelift?
A micro facelift is a targeted surgical lifting option for early or localized facial sagging. Unlike a treatment based only on upward pulling, GIRIN Micro Lift evaluates both tissue volume and tissue position before creating a personalized lifting plan.
Depending on the individual anatomy, the plan may include selective tissue reduction, repositioning of displaced tissue, and lifting of sagging areas. Not every patient requires all three steps.
It Is Not Always the Bone.
Two people with a similar degree of sagging may need completely different treatment plans. One may primarily need lifting, while another may need selective reduction or repositioning before lifting.
Where tissue is concentrated.
How tissue has shifted over time or after previous surgery.
How much support and lifting is required.
Recommended for Selected Patients
Suitability is determined by facial anatomy, tissue quality, previous procedures, and the amount of correction required, not by age alone.
Experience sagging or soft-tissue descent after facial contouring surgery
Have lower-face heaviness, early jowls, or a bottom-heavy facial shape
Have a blurred jawline or indistinct cheek-to-jawline contour
Want more structural correction than energy-based or thread lifting can provide
Are considering facial lifting but are not ready for a full facelift
A Personalized Sequence, Not a Fixed Formula.
Each phase is adjusted, combined, or omitted according to the patient’s facial structure. The goal is controlled refinement rather than excessive reduction or aggressive pulling.
Customized Soft-Tissue Mapping
The surgeon evaluates tissue concentration, downward movement, asymmetry, skin elasticity, and the areas where facial heaviness is most visible.
- Facial volume distribution
- Sagging direction and asymmetry
- Jawline, cheek, and lower-face balance
Selective Soft-Tissue Reduction
When indicated, selected tissue contributing to facial heaviness may be carefully reduced to create a cleaner foundation for repositioning and lifting.
- Performed only when clinically appropriate
- Designed to avoid an over-hollow appearance
- Balanced according to left-right differences
Repositioning and Lifting
Displaced or sagging tissue is repositioned and lifted in a direction planned to improve the cheek, lower face, and jawline while maintaining natural facial balance.
- Customized lifting vector
- Localized correction when appropriate
- Natural refinement over excessive tension
Not Excessive, but Effective. The Difference Lies in How Naturally the Soft Tissue Is Refined.
Rather than treating every patient with the same pulling direction, GIRIN Micro Lift is designed around the amount, location, and movement of the individual’s soft tissue.
Micro Lift, Thread Lift, or Full Facelift?
The best option depends on the degree of sagging, tissue quality, desired correction, and whether surgical repositioning is needed.
| Treatment | Generally Considered For | Main Approach | Relative Extent |
|---|---|---|---|
| Energy-Based Lifting | Mild laxity or preventive care | Delivers energy without surgical tissue repositioning | Non-surgical |
| Thread Lift | Mild sagging requiring temporary mechanical support | Lifts tissue using inserted threads | Minimally invasive |
| GIRIN Micro Lift | Early-to-moderate localized sagging, tissue heaviness, or displacement | May combine selective reduction, repositioning, and lifting | Targeted surgical approach |
| Mini Facelift | Localized lower-face or cheek sagging | Limited incision and surgical lifting | Limited surgical approach |
| Full Facelift | More advanced or widespread facial and neck aging | More extensive tissue dissection and lifting | Comprehensive surgery |

Micro Lift FAQ
What is the difference between GIRIN Micro Lift and a full facelift?
GIRIN Micro Lift is generally designed for more localized or earlier-stage sagging and typically involves a more targeted treatment range. A full facelift is intended for broader or more advanced facial and neck laxity. The appropriate option must be determined after examination.
Is GIRIN Micro Lift the same as a thread lift?
No. A thread lift uses inserted threads to provide temporary mechanical support. GIRIN Micro Lift is a surgical approach that may include selective reduction, tissue repositioning, and lifting.
Will soft tissue always be removed?
No. Reduction is considered only when selected tissue contributes to heaviness or imbalance. Some patients may require primarily repositioning and lifting.
Can it help after facial contouring surgery?
It may be considered for selected patients with tissue descent or looseness after facial contouring surgery. Previous surgical details, tissue condition, skin elasticity, and healing status must be evaluated first.
Can it replace a full facelift?
Not in every case. Patients with more advanced or widespread facial and neck laxity may require a full facelift or another combined procedure.
How long do the results last?
Surgical lifting does not stop natural aging. Longevity varies according to the surgical plan, tissue quality, lifestyle, weight changes, and individual aging.
