What is Alarplasty?

Sometimes our alae are wider than the width of the nose bridge. Nostrils may become wider when we smile. Big nostrils may affect the overall look of our faces and facial expression. Alar reduction surgery aims to create a smaller alar, making the nose look slimmer and more defined.

Alar Reduction is recommended if:

  • Your nose looks big due to wide nostrils.

  • Your nose alae are not in balance with overall facial proportions.

  • Your nose tip looks bulbous due to the wide alae.
