What is Upper Blepharoplasty

As we age, the eyelids become droopy and the muscles supporting them weaken. These can cause ptosis and make our eyes smaller. The sagging skin may also reduce side vision and cause functional problems. Upper Blepharoplasty, also known as eyelid lift surgery, is a procedure that removes excess skin, fat, and muscle from the upper eyelids to create a younger and refreshed appearance.

Upper Blepharoplasty is recommended if:

  • You want to appear younger than your actual age

  • You want to eliminate wrinkles and saggy skin on your upper eyelids

  • You have functional problems, such as a reduced field of vision, due to excess skin
