How Rib Fit Nose Is Created
STEP 01
A 3D CT scan is performed to accurately assess the nasal structure and plan a safe surgical approach.
STEP 02
A 3D simulation is used to preview the desired nasal shape. Together with the patient, we adjust the direction and determine details such as bridge height, tip angle, and overall profile.
STEP 03
A custom mold is created using 3D printing, and the finely processed autologous rib cartilage is securely molded using medical-grade adhesive.

Q. How long should I stay in Korea after Rib Fit Nose (autologous rib cartilage mold rhinoplasty)?
A. If you undergo rhinoplasty using your own rib cartilage, you will need to return to the clinic for post-operative checkups, as well as cast and stitch removal. We recommend staying in Korea for around 10 nights if possible. However, if you are unable to stay that long, we can provide a referral letter so you can have the remaining stitches removed in your home country.

The final design will also take into consideration your existing nasal structure, skin thickness, and what can be safely achieved.

A. Yes. Autologous rib cartilage mold rhinoplasty is particularly well suited for revision rhinoplasty. However, the 3D rib cartilage mold is designed for long-term stability, with an approximate retention rate of 95%. Individual results may vary depending on healing and other patient-specific factors.
Q. Does Rib Fit Nose (autologous rib cartilage mold rhinoplasty) leave pain or scarring at the rib cartilage harvesting site?
A. After surgery, you may experience temporary pain, soreness, or tightness around the rib cartilage harvesting site, but these symptoms gradually improve as you recover. The incision used to harvest the rib cartilage will also gradually fade over time, although the final appearance of the scar may vary depending on your skin type and individual healing process.
