Do I Really Need a Rib Cartilage Calcification Test?

Before using autologous rib cartilage, GIRIN checks the size and condition of the cartilage through X-ray imaging. This helps identify calcification in advance and reduce unnecessary cartilage harvesting during surgery.

After Rhinoplasty: What to Know

Q. When can I wear glasses after rhinoplasty?
Wearing glasses may be possible after approximately 2 weeks depending on your healing progress, but because the nasal structure is not yet fully stabilized, we generally recommend waiting at least 1 month.
Q. When can I return to normal daily activities?
During the first month, the nasal structure is still healing, so avoid impact or pressure on the nose, prolonged bending forward, and very hard foods. Washing your face, showering and most normal daily activities are generally possible after approximately 1 week.
Q. When can I drink alcohol or smoke after rhinoplasty?
Alcohol and smoking can increase the risk of inflammation and interfere with healing. Avoid both for at least 1 month after surgery.
Q. How can I reduce swelling and discomfort after surgery?
Bruising and swelling may occur around the surgical area. Cold compresses during the early recovery period and light walking can help support swelling reduction and recovery.
