What is Breast Augmentation with implants?

Breast augmentation, also known as augmentation mammoplasty, aims to enlarge the breast size by inserting implants under the breast muscle and tissue. This procedure is one of the most common plastic surgeries in the world.

What is Breast Augmentation with Implants?

Breast augmentation aims to enlarge the breast size by inserting implants under the breast muscle and tissue. This procedure is one of the most common plastic surgeries in the world. Conventional breast augmentation surgeries result in unnatural shapes and firmness. However, at GIRIN we perform the Dual Plane surgical method which overcomes the shortcomings of the conventional method.

Types of Breast Surgery Incisions

There are three types of surgery incision methods in breast augmentation. The method is chosen based on the patient’s condition and pre-surgery analysis.

Type 1. The incision on the Armpits (Axillary Incision)

Step 1. The incision site is selected at the deepest wrinkle of the armpit.

Step 2. The incision is made on the selected wrinkle.

Step 3. An anesthetic and hemostatic agent is injected into the breasts and armpits

Step 4. Space is created for breast implants using an HD endoscopy device

Step 5. The breast implants are inserted

Step 6. Incisions are carefully closed to minimize scarring

Step 7. After 10 months, there are no visible scars.

Type 2. Inframammary fold incision

Step 1. The site of incision is chosen under the breasts

Step 2. An anesthetic and hemostatic agent is injected into the breasts

Step 3. Space is created for breast implants

Step 4. The breast implants are inserted

Step 5. Incisions are carefully closed to minimize scarring

Step 6. After 10 months, there are no visible scars.

Type 3. Periareolar Incision

In this case, the incision is made along the outer edge of the areola to minimize scarring.
